About Us

Flickers & Flames were established as part of the LEAP Enterprise programme: an initiative designed to encourage 14-19 year olds to develop confidence, teamwork and employability skills. After weeks of debating, negotiating and proposing various business ideas, we eventually settled upon selling handmade candles; the perfect way to spread the spirit this Christmas. Besides, who doesn't enjoy the scent of cinnamon as you snuggle by the fireplace?

Our team may be young, yet, as Oscar Wilde once said, "the young are always ready to give to those who are older than themselves". We are no different. We believe that our tenacity and enthusiasm to provide the best product possible is what makes up for our lack of experience.

On a similar note, we all care about the environment. It is essential for us to use sustainable materials and, thus, we use only recycled bottles and jars in our product. It's our way of giving back to our planet.
